All the music on this album was created in the summer of 2023 for the music theatre performance 'Dit lijkt een beetje op een cactus’ and premiered as part of the 'Dear Antwerp Festival' of DE SINGEL in Antwerp, Belgium.

'Dit lijkt een beetje op een cactus’ is a city walk, a music theatre parcours on the border between fiction and reality. A surreal journey that leads to places where the tumult of the neighbourhood, the ringing of a bicycle bell, the start of a motorcycle engine seems to turn into the soundtrack of a film...

A colorful signage guides the audience in small groups through a specific city district. The spectator's gaze is guided through musical and theatrical interventions. Everyday city situations get a touch of magic, sometimes subtle, sometimes bombastic and dramatic. A surprising music & theatre experience, suitable for all ages!
